FIREFIGHTERS were dispatched yesterday afternoon to reports of a LGV fire on a farm near Prees Heath.
The incident, involving an agricultural vehicle, took place at Twemlows Stud Farm just before 5pm.
Two fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Prees and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was also in attendance.
Equipment used to tackle the blaze included breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that the incident had been dealt with just under an hour later at 5.52pm.
