FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to a HGV fire in whitchurch.
At around 2.15pm on Wednesday, July 17, Shropshire Fire and Rescue received a call reporting the fire on the Waymills industrial, which also involved a skip.
Three fire appliances have been mobilised from Prees, Wem and Whitchurch, with an operations officer also deployed to the scene.
Crews at the scene used breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet to tackle the blaze.
Officials confirmed the fire had been extinguished by 3.20pm on Wednesday.
