FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a 'fully alight' car in Malpas last night.
The incident was reported shortly before midnight on Thursday, September 24, and featured a car on fire in Dobson Square in the centre of the village.
On arrival the crew found one car well alight, with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackling the fire using two hosereel jets.
Once the fire was extinguished the vehicle was checked over with a thermal imaging camera.
