FIRE crews were called to a village near Whitchurch this morning after a piece of farm machinery caught fire.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called out to the incident at 7.47am to reports of a tractor - specifically a Manitou - on fire in Darliston.

A spokesperson from SFRS said: “Two fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Prees, with one Operations Officer in attendance.
“There was One Manitou and silage clamp involved in fire.
“Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet used to extinguish.
A stop message, confirming no further assistance was needed, was sent to control at 8.12am.
