FIRE crews were called out earlier this morning to tackle a large goods vehicle on fire at a business park in Wem.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received a call reporting the vehicle on fire at around 6.09am today, Friday, November 10, in Aston Road Business Park.
Two fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

A spokesperson from SFRS said: “An Operations officer was in attendance.
“Crews used a hosereel jet, rakes, shovels, mathooks and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.
“The fire involved the contents within a lorry.
“The contents have been emptied and fire service personnel are dampening down.”
A stop call, confirming no further assistance was needed, was made to control at 7.02am.
