JCB fire in north Shropshire village prompts firefighter callout
A JCB on fire close between Oswestry and Shrewsbury prompted Shropshire firefighters to be called out on Thursday. Two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crews from Baschurch and Shrewsbury were sent to Myddle, close to Wem, at around 11.45pm

WHITCHURCH Rotary Club is still celebrating after picking up their 10th bowls win in 15 years. The club’s bowls team picked up victory in the District competition to maintain its dominance in the competition with a one-sided win in the final.
