KENNETH HENRY EVANS of Smales Cottages

KENNETH HENRY EVANS of Smales Cottages, Oswestry, who passed away at Wrexham Maelor Hospital on 2nd November 2009 aged 80. He leaves his wife Doreen, sons James and Graham, daughter Susan and sister Doreen. After Ken completed his National Service he joined Great Western Railways. This fuelled a lifelong interest in trains. However, his career path led to buses, which is where he spent 30 years. His greatest passion in life was Jazz. The funeral service at St Oswalds Parish Church was conducted by Rev Simon Thorburn followed by interment at Oswestry Cemetery. Family mourners were his wife Doreen, sons James and Graham, daughter Susan and sister Doreen.
