HANNAH MYFANWY WILLIAMS late of Brooklyn Road, Pant passed away peacefully in hospital on Friday 12th February 2010 aged 84 years. Myfanwy was the widow of the late Mr Osmond Williams, much loved mum of Glenda and step-mother of Lynda and Peter. The funeral took place on February 19th at Cefnblodwel Chapel, followed by interment in the chapel cemetery. The Rev Gwilym O Jones officiated, assisted by Rev Roger Durbridge and Rev Gwyndaf Richards. An apology was received form Rev Raymond Hughes. The Organist was Mrs Carol Davies. Family Mourners were Glenda and Jeff, Lynda and Emrys, Peter and Lorraine, her grandchildren Dawn and Rob, Jenny and Simon, Bryn and Rhian and Aled, her great grandchildren Hayley, David, Matthew and Laura and her brother and sisters in law Mr and Mrs Gwynfryn Jones, Mrs Netta Jones, Miss Rosamund Williams, Mrs Nancy Williams and Mrs Edith Jones, as well as a number of nephews and nieces and other relatives. The Bearers were Messrs Peter Williams, Emrys Thomas, Simon Dodd and Rob Davies. The Ushers were Messrs Mervyn Roberts, Ifor Lloyd and Eric Morris with Glyn Lloyd and Julian Roberts in charge of car parking. Thanks: The Family wish to thank everyone most sincerely for the many cards, letters and messages of sympathy, for the large attendance at the funeral and the very generous donations. Thank you to the Rev. Gwilym Jones for all his help, to Mrs Janet Smith for arranging the flowers in the chapel, to Mrs Marian Morris and her helpers for providing the excellent refreshments, most welcome on such a cold day and to Mr Philip Ellis and staff of I Jackson and sons for the funeral arrangements
