EDWARD KENNETH NORMAN BROMLEY The funeral has taken place of Edward Kenneth Norman Bromley who lived at Croeswylan Crescent, Oswestry and died at the Maelor Hospital, Wrexham on Thursday 25th March 2010, aged 87 years. He leaves a widow Yvonne Gordon Bromley and son Christopher Bromley. He was a retired electrical retailer following war service in RAF Coastal Command 1940-46, responsible for provision of radio and TV facilities to Oswestry and outlying districts in the early post war era of broadcasting, and ensured his customers were able to receive the Coronation broadcast in 1953. The funeral service at St. Oswalds Parish Church, Oswestry was conducted by the Rev. John Chesworth followed by cremation at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham. Family mourners were Yvonne Gordon Bromley (wife), Christopher L G Bromley (son), Mark Bromley (nephew), Dr A L G Smith (brother in law) and his wife Deirdre Smith, Dr A J Parker (nephew) and his wife Deirdre Parker and son Alexander Parker and Mrs L Morris (cousin). Other mourners were Mr and Mrs W East, Mrs Veronica Bryan-Smith, Mr and Mrs R Lumsden, Mr D Stokes, Mrs Erlys Lloyd Thomas, Miss I Gull, Mrs Sondra Rowlands, Mrs Beryl Tatam, Dr and Mrs Barry Taylor, Edith Jones and Mr Dick Hughes, Mr and Mrs E Parry, Mr P Vaughan, Mr and Mrs P Jenkins and Dr John Ambrose. Flowers were sent by family. Thanks: The family wish to thank the Rev.
