J Myra Evans -
Of Aethnen Ganol, Llanfechain, Powys, died at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on January 10th 2011 aged 88 years. She leaves her husband Ray Evans, her brother Ivor Jones and her sister and brother in law, Olive and Jack Wilson and also nephews and nieces. A Service was held at Llanfechain Church on January 17th and she was buried at Llanarmon M.H. Churchyard. The Service was led by the Reverend Pam Powell, organist was Mr Wylie, ushers were David Hughes and Brian Thomas. Bearers were Alan Morris, Keith Wilde, Philip Franklyn and Bryn Jones. Funeral arrangements were by I. Jackson and Sons. Donations in excess of £1100 were divided between The Coronary Care Unit, Shrewsbury Hospital and Llanfyllin Medical Practice.
Thanks : Ray, Ivor and all the family wish to thank everyone most sincerely for the kindness and sympathy shown to them in their sad bereavement and loss. For all the cards and messages of sympathy received, for the kind donations given in memory of Myra and for the attendance at the funeral.
