Bunt
(Cyril Bertram) Bainbridge - The funeral has taken place of Bunt Bainbridge who lived at Oswestry and died at home after a short illness on 11th April 2011 aged 91 years. He leaves 4 daughters and 2 sons, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Bunt was an engine driver for over 30 years. He was a very keen gardener winning prizes for his chrysanthemums in Oswestry flower show, he was also a good carpenter and was keen on sport, especially football and played darts, dominoes and snooker.
The funeral service was held at Emstrey Crematorium and was conducted by Reverend Jean Rock.
Family mourners were daughters Ann, Jean, Sheila and Valerie, sons Robert and Michael, grandchildren Adrian Kevin, Kathryn, Kay, Ian, Karen, Gareth, Oliver, David and Jennifer. Sons in law Steve, Keith, John and Les. Daughter in law Mandy. Brother and sister in law Syd and Joyce and brother Don.
Other family mourners Tony and Natalie Bainbridge, Russell and Angie Bainbridge, Joan Jones, Ivor and Sandra Perks, John and Pauline Bate, Richard Swindles representing Sue Swindles, Marian, John Williams, Pauline Woodward, Stephen Bainbridge, Donna, John and Jacky Burke representing Liz, Tom, Sandy, Rachel and David.
Other mourners were Brian Rowe, Norman Roberts, Stan and Angie Carruthers, Keith Roberts, Alf Swannick representing Eddie and Else and Alan Lanstrom, Dennis and Maureen Hughes, Debbie Carruthers, Debbie Young representing Pam and Brian Goldsmith and Ann and Finn Rassmuson, Mark and Sharon Carruthers, Ann and Paul Goulding, Doug, Ged and John Lythe, Eric and Barbara Roberts representing Ted and Sheila Burke, Sheila Davies, Hazel Rogers representing all at Cae Glas Surgery, Pat Aston representing Peter, Glyn Roberts, Albert Rogers representing Elda Rogers.
Family flowers only but donations of over £200 were made towards the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Bunts late wife Joan.
