HENRY JOSEPH JONES "JACK" - of Viscount Bridgeman Court, Oswestry passed away at High Lea House Care Home, Oswestry on April 29th 2011, aged 89 years. He leaves one cousin, Mrs Phyllis Jones.
Jack retired to Viscount Bridgeman Court, 22 years ago on the death of his mother. Invalided from the RAF during the war, where he served as a fitter. He had various engineering jobs locally.
The funeral service at St. Oswald's Parish Church, Oswestry was conducted by Mr Bill Bowen. Burial was at Oswestry Cemetery. Family mourners were Phyllis Jones, cousin and second cousins Pam Mays, Sue Furber representing Dave, Paul and Dawn and Val Smout representing Eric, Claire, Steve and baby Charlie. Other mourners Alan and Jean Parsons, neighbours from Viscount Bridgeman Court, friends from the church, representative from High Lea House, Mike Thomas from the Advertizer, as well as many other friends too numerous to mention.
