EMRYS JONES - The funeral has taken place of Charles Emrys Jones (Emrys the Boxer) who lived at Greenfield Square, Morda and died at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on 7th September 2011, aged 79 years. The funeral service was held at Trefonen Church with burial at Trefarclawdd Cemetery.
THANKS: The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support throughout this difficult time, with special thanks to Mrs Betty Steele for taking the service, to Elwyn Hughes for his poignant tribute to Emrys, the bearers Geoff Ethleston, John Gittins, Roger Francis and Doug Williams, the ushers Davie Thomas and Geraint Jones, Marian and her team for providing the lovely refreshments and to David Davies & Sons for all the arrangements.
The family would also like to say thank you for the many cards of sympathy and generous donations received which have been forwarded to The Umbrella Fund and Oswestry Ringside Gym.
