ALBERT ERNEST PRESTON - The funeral has taken place of Albert Ernest Preston of Vyrnwy Road, Oswestry who passed away at Meadowbrook Care Home, aged 85 years, on 22 June 2012. Ern was married to Sybil who passed away in 2008. He leaves behind son and daughter in law, David and Sue and granddaughters, Sarah and Joanne. The funeral took place at Emstrey Crematorium on 3rd July, led by the Rev Prebendary David Crowhurst.
THANKS. David, Sue, Sarah and Joanne wish to sincerely thank the doctors and team at the Caxton Surgery for their kindness and outstanding care; the Rev Prebendary David Crowhurst for his support and such a wonderful service; the members of the Orthopaedic Hospital Choir for their attendance at the funeral and David Davies for the arrangements.
Particular thanks are extended to the care team at Meadowbrook and friends and neighbours for their kindness and many messages of sympathy.
A substantial donation has been made to the Hope House Children’s Hospice.
