John Arwel Roberts -
The funeral has taken place of John Arwel, devoted husband of Marion, loving father of Arwyn, father in law to Erica, taid and great taid to grandchildren Abbie, Charlotte, Becky, Claire, great grandchildren Alivia, Joshua, Aiden, Alicia and Kaysha, who he cherished and loved so much, missed by all his family.
The service was at Pontfadog Church 12th November 2012, followed by interment at Garth Cemetery, Glyn Ceiriog and was conducted by the Rev. Jean Rock and Rev. Glyn Jones. Special thanks to both for their kind words.
I would like to thank very much Doctors and Staff at Nightingale House Hospice, Wrexham for their kindness and care for Arwel, also Chirk Doctors and District Nurses. Special thanks to the bearers, John Evans, Donald Roberts, Meirion Roberts and David Bond, also to the organist. Thanks to all who attended the funeral, over 300. Generous donations of £1,000 were raised for Nightingale House Hospice and Pontfadog Church.
Marion, Arwyn, Erica and family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and support shown to them during their bereavement. Thanks to Edmund Rowlands and Son, Chirk.
