Kent Nicholls -
The funeral has taken place of Kent Nicholls who passed away at Wakefield Hospice on May 5th 2013, aged 47 years. He leaves Kerryn and son Lorcan aged 11.

Kent was an Oswestrian who played football for the original Boys Club and Oswestry Town Reserves. He also played cricket for Frankton, Oswestry, Cae Glas, and bowls for Olde Croft and The George.

The funeral service at Pentrebychan Crematorium, Wrexham was conducted by Rev. Godfrey Jones. Family mourners were Terry Nicholls (father), Brett and Vincent Nicholls (brothers), Angie Oakley (sister), Guy Nicholls (uncle), Norma Osborne (aunt), Shirley Jarman (great aunt), Sue Nicholls (sister-in-law), Diana Price, Linda Kettle, Jackie Lewis, Gill Evans, Steve Griffiths (cousins).

Other mourners were Darren Smith, Matt and Kathy Greig, Wayne Perry, Pete and Sandra McConville, Andy Morris, David Powell, Den and Sheila Powell (Frankton C. C.), Robin Jones, David Jones, Jeri Herbert, Chris Morris, Rob Arnold, Tony Hall, Wayne Ryan, Ken and Audrey Jones, Paul "Ricey" Ryan, Howard Llewellin, Paul Dalton, Andrew Leggatt (Oswestry C. C.), Gordon Sheppard, Russell Evans, Jacey Wilcock, Carys Hill, Ian Fenwick, Elaine Otter, the Moore Family (Manchester), Patrick Birks, Pip Page-Jones (Mash), Lynne Conde-Wood, Rosie Howell, "Barney", Martin Pugh, Paul Pryce (Bristol), Andy Griffiths (Cae Glas C.C.), Rickey and Sandra Foulkes, Glen Colburn, Mel Jarman, John Cleaton, Ann and Peter Hughes, Mike Robinson, Graham and Doreen Casewell, Val Tompkins (Washington D.C.
