Paul David Edwards - The funeral has taken place of Paul David Edwards who passed away at his home in London.

Paul was the elder son of Jenny and Iorwerth Edwards, brother of Robert and Rachel, brother in law of Kate, great nephew of Aunty Gwyneth and loved and loving uncle to Annabelle, Lucy, Tess and Oliver.

Paul had worked in London since leaving University but was a frequent visitor to Oswestry. His main interests outside his job were his book collection, fishing, guitar music, politics and his family. He was not a great sportsman but enjoyed walking in the country when he was in Shropshire.

The service, conducted by Mr Philip Niblock was held at Emstrey Crematorium on October 18th. Many family and friends attended including colleagues and friends from the London area.

Flowers were from family members and donations to the value of £1,200 were shared between Midlands Air Ambulance, Childline and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Paul's family would like to thank everyone for the kindness and support which has been given since their sad loss, for all the cards and messages, flowers and attendance at the service which was a celebration of his life.

Special thanks to Bazil and Barbara Craig, Elsie Griffiths, Ruth Watkin, Paul Boakes, Philip Niblock and David Davies & Sons for their unfailing care and support at this very difficult time.
