I was very saddened to hear the news on John, he was good friend of my father, Colin Lodwick. I will remember him with affection, always articulate, always friendly.
Go steady John, wherever you are.

You were the good looker John;
Passed you on the street; always recognition:
One good guy; we always related without words!
You are the looker mate; its always a shame when
We could have shared memories! Some good; some otherwise!!
Rip brothers in arms: RIP Mate:

I was very sad to hear of John’s death. We were good friends in our late teenage years 16/17 and into our twenties. We used to drink in the Queens and go to the Plaza and enjoy hooking up with girls. On occasions I went to football matches with Benbow and mates and we once got locked out with 10,000 other supporters at a European Cup match at Old Trafford. I did speak to him on the phone last year and we talked about meeting up. Sadly we never got round to that. Rest in Peace John and thanks for being a good Mate. Mike
