JONES Mary Eluned Oldfield Of Bryn Hafod Road, Oswestry Passed away peacefully on 28th August 2022 Aged 69 Years. Beloved Partner of Lionel Wass. Sadly missed by all the family. Funeral service at Llangynyw Church on Wednesday 28th September at 1pm. Followed by interment in the Churchyard. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, to The Montgomery unity at the orthopaedic hospital and Llangynyw Church. Enquiries to W.E. I knew Mary some 40 years ago in London; she was a teacher at a Junior School, I worked at London University. She was a beautiful, kind and loving woman, sometimes scatty, sometimes maddening, never less than fascinating; the life spirit was strong in her. I have thought of her often over the decades, and only found out today of her passing. May she rest in peace. Tom Stubbs
