GROCOTT Raymond Victor On Sunday 1st October 2023, after a long and fulfilled life, peacefully at home in Prees, aged 89 years. Ray, beloved husband of the late Rose, dearly loved dad of Ruth, David, and Linda, together with their families Hugues, Louis, and Charlie; Kirsty, Alfie, Honor and Minnie; Robin, Mia, and Tash. The funeral cortege will be passing through Prees village at 2.45 p.m. on Friday 13th October en-route to a private family cremation. A celebratory service of thanksgiving for Ray's life will be held at the Grocott Heritage Centre, Brookdale, Station Road, Prees SY13 2DW on Saturday, 14th October at 1.30pm. Colourful attire welcome. Car parking and pick-up points for a shuttle bus service to the Grocott Heritage Centre will be available at Prees Medical Centre and Prees Cricket & Recreation Club. Limited disability parking spaces will be available at the Heritage Centre. Donations if desired will be divided between Prees Church and local charities.
