TUSTIN Barbara Mary Aged 84 Barbara Mary Tustin was a loving and vibrant woman to all who knew her. She passed away in hospice on 28th September, 2023. Barbara was born in Hammersmith on 26th May 1939 to Leonard and Phyllis Craddock - the third of six children. As an adult she and her family would move to Bexhill on Sea to which she would always be drawn. As a young woman, she married David Tattersall, with whom she had 2 children, Ruth and Mark. She later met and married Jay Vincent Tustin, and for nearly 50 years they shared many loves, especially the love of Alsatians, the Welsh countryside and East Sussex seaside. Barbara was a dedicated and passionate primary school teacher in Bexhill for over 30 years, 20 of which were at Chantry School. She was also an avid letter writer and rarely failed to pen a note to family and friends around the globe. She is survived by her four siblings, children, grand-children and many other family and friends. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on 3rd November 2023 at the Christchurch Methodist Church in Bexhill on Sea.
