THE TURN OF THE SCREW
(The Talbot Theatre, Whitchurch Leisure Centre, Thursday, November 28 at 7.30pm)
HENRY James’ gothic horror story is brought to life by Box Tale Soup Theatre with human and puppet performances in an Arts Alive show.
At an isolated country estate, a young governess arrives to take care of the children. She is charmed at first by her surroundings but before long she begins to believe there is something darker at work in the depths of Bly House as sinister figures appear...
Creepy and tense, imaginative and thoughtful, the show features beautiful handmade puppetry and an amazing original soundtrack.
“They are wonderful” says The Times and “gripping” according to the British Theatre Guild of this Fringe sell-out show of 2018.
n Suitable for all aged 12-plus, tickets at £10 adults and £5 young people are available online at www.artsalive.co.uk, the Leisure Centre on 01948 660660 or on 07506724572.
