TRACTOR drivers from across north Shropshire and beyond got together recently to help raise more than £1,000 for charity.
The Three Counties Tractor Run saw dozens of vintage tractors travel from Alderford Lake in Whitchurch on Sunday, June 27, along a route taking them through Cheshire and Wales, before ending up back in Whitchurch.
The event was organised by Dan Beardmore from Ellesmere, with funds going towards the Midlands Air Ambulance.
Following the event, Dan thanked everyone who participated.
"Fantastic day out for our Three Counties Tractor Run," said Dan.
"A big big thank you to all who participated you all made the day run smoothly.
"A big thank you to Alderford Lake for having us and use of there field and thank you to Dave Quick and his team for the excellent catering, we can’t fault you!
"We have so far managed to raise a massive £1,150 for Midlands air Ambulance, which is truly amazing – that’s donations included from the public.
"A massive thank you to everyone who came and supported us, drivers and spectators and the general public.
"We will see you all again soon."
