BUDDING entomologists should visit the Dodington Lodge in Whitchurch this month for a special show celebrating creepy-crawlies.
The Fetch Theatre Company will visit the 'Doddy' on Sunday, July 18 for their outdoor show 'Insect Safari'.
Supported by the Blackberry Fair, the show will music and poetry to show off the world of bugs and critters of every variety.
Jenny Matthews, from Whitchurch Little Theatre Group, promised a 'wonderful' show.
She said: "This exciting visual performance celebrates everything that creeps and crawls and promises to mesmerise and delight children of all ages and adults too using mythology, folktales, music and poetry.
"Local musician Mary Keith has created the music for dung beetles, spiders, dragonflies, butterflies, mosquitos and sandflies.
"Grab a chair, rug, coat and picnic for either the 2pm or 4pm show on the lawns at the Doddy and enjoy this wonderful experience."
Tickets are £8 for adults, £6 for under 18s and £25 for a family of four and are available from the Dodington reception, www.dodingtonlodge.co.uk or www.artsalive.co.uk
