WELCOME to the latest camera club – your one stop shop for the best images of the area.
Perfect pictures are often debated about what one should comprise of. Often the answer is relative.
Over the past 17 months of lockdown restrictions the perfect picture has become even more so.
What fascinates one person may fail to intrigue another.
It is all part of life’s rich tapestry.
One thing that everyone seems to agree on – by the number of pictures shared by our wonderful camera club members – is that everyone is proud of living in such a beautiful part of the world.
From majestic hills to postcard pictures of canals and waterways, the beauty can be found in every walk and often surprises even those who have lived here for many years.
Often enough we go about our daily lives without too much consideration of just how fortunate we are to call our part of the world home.
Indeed we have many shortages in terms of jobs and attractions compared to other parts of the country.
However as we have seen over the past 17 months, this area is also incredibly safe and community spirited.
These are traits that are not universal and ones which should be nurtured and celebrated as much as possible.
These traits cannot always be captured on camera but the fact these images of our wonderful towns and villages are taken at all is testament to our pride.
