The Vault in Ellesmere started four and a half years ago as a micro brewery but as time has gone on became a full running bar, with an excellent gin and cocktail menu.
Since The Vault has earned a reputation for bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to the north Shropshire town.
Located in the cellar of the old town hall, it resembles a brick-built undercroft.
It has proved popular throughout the age range by selling real-ale, craft beer, speciality wines and cocktails. Up to three hand-pumps, usually with beers from local breweries, such as Chapel, Stonehouse and Salopian.
A pub spokesman said: "We try to have locally sourced real ales as much as possible which vary from week to week.
"The outside area’s consist of a Mediterranean feel, benches on the pavement to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by, also a outside beer garden with roofed pods or seating to enjoy the sunshine. We have amazing staff, who are very friendly, and do their utmost to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
"We do food which consists of homemade pizza’s all produced on the premises using fresh produce and various marinated meats, a veggie option is available. There is a homemade curry and various traditional box meals, served from opening till 8.30-9 pm.
"We have now started to have live entertainment, mostly on a Saturday evening, all events and dates are advertised on The Vault Facebook."
