A MAN from Overton has must pay more than £180 for breaching lockdown regulations during the pandemic.
Alex Kokic, 19, of Queensbridge Cottage, Overton, was found to be in breach of regulations when he went to a private dwelling at Cartwright Court in Cardiff with more than 15 other people on May 8 this year.
He was sentenced at Cardiff Magistrates Court, where it was heard he was "found to be in contravention of the Regulations as you; without reasonable excuse, during the emergency period, contravene restriction gathered in private dwelling in alert Level 3 area of Wales with more than 15 people".
After a guilty plea, which was taken into consideration, Kokic was fined £60.
He must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £90.
