A NORTH Shropshire road is expected to be closed for a while after a HGV ended up on its side.
The A529 between Market Drayton and Adderley was closed this morning at around 10.30am following the incident on the Tittenley Junction to Shavington in Spoonley. Police later added it will be closed for a while due to the damage caused to the road.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were discharged at the scene.
North Shropshire Cops tweeted: "Please be aware the A529 is likely to be CLOSED for a while due to damage caused to the road."

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a community first responder attended the scene.
"On arrival we found two patients. Both were assessed and had sustained injuries believed to be minor. They received self care advice and were discharged at the scene.”
Firefighters from Market Drayton were called to the scene shortly before 10.30am, along with police and paramedics.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One HGV on side, no action by fire service, incident left with police."
