ORGANISERS of the WEM Vehicles of Interest show have announced it will be going ahead for the first time since 2019.
The show brings together lovers of cars of all shapes, sizes, makes and eras which will be paraded through the town.
Shaun Clorley, one of the main organisers of the popular show, which will be held on Sunday, July 17, said they are looking forward to it.
He added: "We postponed the show for two years due to Covid-19.
"We could have probably held the show last year, with hindsight, but it takes many months to prepare the show.
"Better safe than sorry.
"We're looking forward to a good show this year, all being well."
Several classic cars are expected to be on display, but Shaun added there will be other vehicles as well.
He said: "We usually have the RAF helicopter from Shawbury fly in.
"It is not just classic cars.
"It is vehicles of interest.
"Any interesting vehicles from supercars to rally cars.
"We've got re-enactors to do Second World War re-enactments, so we have got some old Willy's Jeeps.
"Hopefully, a Ferret armoured car will be coming.
"Anything interesting, motorbikes, bicycles.
"We have had a penny farthing here before."
There will be plenty of food and drink for visitors and there will also be a parade where people will be able to drive the vehicles through Wem town centre.
