POLICE in Whitchurch made two arrests for drink-driving on Sunday evening.
The North Shropshire policing team were called after two separate collisions in the town were reported.

The first saw a man arrested after a vehicle collided with a parked car and the driver blew 87 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
One male under arrest in Whitchurch tonight for driving under the influence after blowing 87 with the legal limit being 35.

He was taken into custody to provide a further evidential reading.
Then an hour later police were called to another collision.
An hour after the last drink drive arrest, we were called to another collision in Whitchurch. The male attempted to leave the scene but was followed by a member of the public.
