FIREFIGHTERS were called to an emergency near Whitchurch on Sunday night.
The incident was classed as a fire in the open at Grindley Brook.
One crew from Whitchurch attended at around 10.30pm and put out the fire.
It follows a busy weekend for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Firefighters from Wem were called to an incident in Brown Heath near Ellesmere on Saturday afternoon which led to two wooden structures being destroyed.
The incident happened at around 4pm and crews from Ellesmere and Baschurch were also in attendance along with an operations officer.
They used hosereel jets to put out the fire.
