A BBC antiques expert was guest of honour at a Malpas retirement living development, as residents celebrated one year since it opened.
David Harper, an Antiques Road Trip regular, joined residents at The Cedars in Old Hall Street, and spoke about his life and career.
Fiona Brookes, divisional sales director at McCarthy Stone, which owns and manages the retirement development, thanked Mr Harper for coming and said it was a 'lovely occasion'.
She added: "It was a lovely occasion for all homeowners and McCarthy Stone staff at The Cedars, to be able to celebrate the development officially opening its doors 12 months ago.
"After the challenges everyone has faced over the last couple of years, it was great for the homeowners to come together at both events.
"For many relocating to The Cedars meant moving to a new home better suited to their needs where the McCarthy Stone team were on hand to help them when it mattered most.
"We’d also like to say a big thank you to David for visiting and celebrating with the homeowners.
"They really enjoyed hearing his knowledge and advice and all about his eclectic career."
