A MAN from Wem has been fined almost £600 and received penalty points after he drove a vehicle that had illegal tyres.
Matthew James Jones was found guilty at Hereford Justice Centre after he was stopped in Shrewsbury on October 4, last year, while driving a Ford Transit that could carry up to eight seated passengers as well as the driver.
The court was told how the front offside tyre did not have enough tread, while the front nearside tyre had the cord exposed.
