Firefighters were called to a property in Wem following reports of a tumble dryer catching fire.
Crews from Prees and Wem responded to the incident in High Street at about 8.20pm on Friday, April 29.
"Smell of smoke inside property, this was a small fire in the tumble dryer which was out on arrival," said Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire crews used a thermal imaging camera and small gear. An operations officer was also called out to the incident.
