A LAKE in Whitchurch has announced a Halloween attraction which is 'not for the faint hearted' will be coming to the town this October.
Alderford Lake in Tilstock Road will be hosting Nightmare Island from Wednesday, October 12 to Monday, October 31 and it will be open to the public from 6pm until 10pm.
A spokesperson for Alderford Lake said it would be a 'spine chilling experience.'
They added: "Could this be your worst nightmare?
"The lost souls of the lake emerge from the shadows, enticing anyone who dares to encroach.
"Your body will be summoned across the water to the nightmare that awaits.
"Your nerves will be tested through a truly spine chilling experience as you attempt to run from the grasp of the fallen.
"When you're surrounded by nothing but misty waters, there really is no way to wake up from this nightmare.
"Nightmare Island is a scare attraction not for the faint hearted.
"It is recommended for people aged 18 and over."
