FIREFIGHTERS were called to Tesco in Whitchurch in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, August 24) to rescue a person from a lift.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) first received the call reporting an incident, classified as lift rescue persons locked in, at 5.20am.
One fire engine was mobilised from Whitchurch Fire Station and firefighters who attended the incident used small gear to rescue the individual from the lift.
The stop message was received at 5.42am.
