The inquest into the death of Chris Durrant (right) was adjourned until December.
THE inquest into the death in America of a Whitchurch man has been opened and adjourned until December.
Christopher Gordon Durrant, 49, died in hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts on Saturday, August 6 after he had been working in Boston.
Mr Durrant, an engineer, was repatriated to Whitchurch later in the month and the inquest into his death was opened at Shirehall, in Shrewsbury, on Thursday, September 1.
Shropshire coroner John Ellery, taking evidence from his officer Michael Caesar-Hondon, heard that Mr Durrant arrived back in the UK on August 19.
Mr Ellery adjourned the full inquest until Tuesday, December 6.
