A RARE climate documentary is going to be shown in Whitchurch in the run up to the Blackberry Fair.
The film 2040 is going to be shown in Whitchurch Scout and Guide Hut in Claypit Street at 7.30pm on Saturday September 24.
The organisers say it is a 'must see' film for children.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Award winning director Damon Gameau embarks on a journey to explore what the future would look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted these solutions into the mainstream.

"Structured as a visual letter to his four-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary footage with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board for his daughter and the planet.
"It is an upbeat, can-do approach with a mission to convince people that they can make a difference to climate change."
You can buy tickets at £5 or £16 for a family of four and are available from Crafty Birds in Whitchurch's Bredwood Arcade, www.artsalive.co.uk or on 07506724572.
