A PARISH council clerk from Prees who became an overnight interest sensation had an interesting start when she appeared on a brand new Channel 4 series.
Jackie Weaver, who hit the headlines in 2021 after booting out two councillors from a bad tempered parish council meeting made her debut on a new programme, 'Make Me The Prime Minister' on Tuesday (September 27) night.
The series sees Jackie, who works as chief officer at Cheshire Association of Local Councils, join 11 other Brits in an 'Apprentice-style' competition in which they must try to prove they are worthy of becoming the UK's next prime minister through a series of challenge.
At the end of each week, one person from the losing team is sent home - either by resigning or by being sent home by former Labour Party director of communications Alistair Campbell and member of the House of Lords, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi.
Jackie explained in the opening episode: "For me it is about local democracy. If I was Prime Minister, the first thing I would do is get rid of the adversarial style of politics that we see played out all the time.
"And I would really introduce compassion in politics."
She also spoke about the video which made her famous.
She said: "I don't think I am scary, people tell me I am scary."

The first episode saw the candidates create a policy on primary education and Jackie was in the same 'party' as Darius Nasimi, a former Conservative candidate who stood in local elections earlier this year, who put himself forward as PM.
Darius lost to his rival PM Natalie Balmain, a medical communications professional in the public vote and Jackie mentioned about how his performances had been week.
She added: "If his performance today wasn't enough to save the day, then certainly his performance over the last two days was the weakest in the room."
Although Darius refused to resign, blaming others in his team, he was subsequently given the boot by Mr Campbell and Baroness Warsi, and Jackie spoke about how he'd lacked support from the rest of his team.
She said: "I am really sorry Darius has gone and I think the point has been made over the last couple of days that he wasn't always well supported."
Since going viral over social media, Jackie has appeared on national TV, including Celebrity Mastermind, Sky News and Good Morning Britain.
The series continues with the next episode being on Channel 4 on Tuesday, October 4 at 9.30pm and the candidates will be tasked with a plan to tackle obesity.
