A WHITCHURCH man has been remanded in custody after he was accused of beating a woman in Staffordshire.
Michael Robinson, 32 and of Oak Tree Way, pleaded guilty at Newcastle under Lyme Magistrate Court on Wednesday, September 21 accused of beating a woman.
The offence is alleged to have taken place in Hednesford, near Cannock, on August 18 this year.
He was remanded in custody as magistrates were told he was likely to offend and also to prevent interference with witnesses.
Robinson will return to Newcastle under Lyme Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 19.
