A MALPAS care home resident has shown she has an eye for the best picture after she won a competition organsied by developers McCarthy and Stone.
Jill Bicknell lives at The Cedars, in Old Hall Street, and she took part in a contest organised by the developers of the complex, McCarthy Stone.
The competition invited people to take and share photographs of their favourite scenery, wildlife and landscapes from the local area.
Jill's image depicting a snowy scene from Coppenhall, near Crewe, won the most votes from residents at The Cedars and its vibrant colours showcased the Cheshire countryside in winter.

The brilliant picture earned Jill £250 for her efforts, and she was pleased to win and thanked McCarthy Stone for organising the competition.
She added: "It was such a beautiful day, snow had fallen but it was bright and sunny and I was eager to capture it on camera.
"I was really pleased with the result, I never thought I would win but I am delighted to have done so.
"Many thanks to McCarthy Stone for running the contest and to everyone at the development who voted for my photo."
Fiona Brooks, divisional sales director for McCarthy Stone, added: "We received some fantastic entries which really showcased the natural features, flora and fauna of the local area in different seasons throughout the year.
"This image captures the crispness of the snow against the dark trees and the beautiful blue sky and is a worthy winner."
