A POPULAR Whitchurch store is set to close on Saturday, according to staff.

The Savers branch in Green End, which sells discount toiletries, beauty products and health stock is set to close at the end of trading on Saturday, according to those close to the branch.

One social media user lamented the store's closure and wished all those worked there well.

They said: "I just wanted to say a really sad farewell to our Savers Shop and in particular the lovely ladies who work there.

"It's a big loss to our town.

"I'd regularly shop there but the best part was chatting with the fab ladies.

"You are all wonderful and I so hope you have something to look forward to once this shop closes.

"Wishing you all the very best and thank you."

Savers has been approached for comment.
