THE OWNER of a store selling baby and children's goods is pleased with the positive feedback as the store has been open for nearly a month.

Chloe Dawson owns Little Beginnings Baby Store in Green End with her mother Alison and they have been open since Saturday, September 24.

Since being open the shop has been busy and Chloe said the shop has received good feedback from customers.

"It has been great, the feedback has been really positive," Chloe added.

"Everyone in the area has said it is something which has been really needed.

"With my son I had to travel or get stuff online and I think when it is baby equipment you want to come and have a look at it.

"It has been really busy, it has been really good."

Chloe said there are many young families in Whitchurch and grandparents who are coming to the store to buy essential equipment.

She added: "There are lots of young families and grandparents.

"If they need bits for when they have got childcare, they have all said it is really useful to have somewhere to pop in and get bits locally."

Chloe was previously a secretary in Churchmere Medical Practice in Whitchurch and her mother was a nursery nurse and she added it was exiting setting up her own business.

She said: "I have opened the shop with my mum, I was a secretary at Churchmere Practice in Whitchurch and my mum was a nursery nurse with the health visiting team.

"We just felt between the two of us we would make a good team.

"It was scary but also really exciting.

"We took the plunge and have gone for it."

Chloe is pleased with both the location and size of the shop.

"It is a good location," she explained.

"It is central and I feel like the shop is a good size.

"We have been quite lucky to have a good location and a good sized shop to fill it with all the equipment have got."

As well as customers from Whitchurch and the surrounding smaller towns and villages, Chloe and Alison have received customers from further afield.

Chloe said: "We had people in from Nantwich and Malpas.

"We also had someone from Oswestry.

"I feel like it is going to attract more people to the town."
