POLICE have appealed for information after a man died in a crash in Malpas.
The incident happened at 9.50pm on Friday, October 28 in Wet Lane, in the Barten area of the town.
A 23-year-old man was died at the scene.
Cheshire Police has confirmed an investigation is underway and officers are appealing for information.
It added: "Officers are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision involving a van in Malpas.
"At 9.50pm on Friday, October 28, a report was received of a one-vehicle collision involving a white Vauxhall Vivaro van and a tree on Wet lane, in the Barton area of Malpas.
"Sadly, the driver, a 23-year-old local man, passed away at the scene. His next of kin are being supported by specialist officers.
"An investigation is currently underway and as part of their enquiries officers are appealing for information in relation to the collision.
