INFORMATION about a serious assault on a 16-year-old boy in Malpas, which has led to the arrest of another teenager, is being sought by Cheshire Police.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious assault in Tilston Road in Malpas.
Shortly after 6.10pm on Monday, November 28, the victim, a 16-year-old boy, was assaulted and the offender then fled the scene on foot.
As a result of the attack, the victim was left with injuries to his face and neck while and an 18-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Detective Sergeant Paul Davis from Cheshire Police, has urged for any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
He said: “This attack has left a boy with serious injuries, and we are committed to doing all we can to establish the circumstances leading up to the incident.
“As part of our enquiries we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they may have witnessed the incident.
