POLICE in Whitchurch have said anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated following reports of young people kicking and banging on doors.
Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) warned of the distress caused to elderly residents, some of whom were on their own, following a series of incidents in the town.
A spokesperson for Whitchurch SNT called on those involved to stop and to think about the consequences.

They added: "Whitchurch SNT have had a number of reports from residents over the last few weeks of young people banging/kicking on doors late into the evening on occasion causing damage to the doors.
"Whilst it may appear 'fun' this is not the case and it is causing a lot of distress to elderly residents who may be home alone. If you are involved in these incidents please stop.
"Anyone caught will be dealt with by our ASB Team."
