One of the main routes past Whitchurch was closed this morning as fire crews rushed to the scene of a lorry fire.
The A525 is closed in both directions between the A41 (Whitchurch South / Wem Road Roundabout) and the B5395 Prees Road (Prees Road Roundabout), causing traffic to build up around the area.
It follows an earlier fire in a lorry, with Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service called to the scene at 5.06am.
