A MAN was taken to the hospital this morning (Wednesday, January 18) after a car was involved in a collision near Whitchurch.
North Wales Police officers were called out at 5.36am to report at a single vehicle collision site on the A525 at the junction of A539 near Eglwys Cross, Whitchurch. A man was taken to hospital following the collision and the road was closed.

A spokesperson from North Wales Police said: "The road was closed whilst Emergency Services attended to deal with the incident.
"One man was subsequently taken to hospital by ambulance."

The road reopened shortly before 9.45am.
