WHITCHURCH TV star and business owner Christina Trevanion will be sharing the secrets of the antiques world as she teams up with three other experts for a live show.
The Trevanion Auction House owner will be joining Charlie Ross, Charles Hanson and Philip Serrell for their live show 'Antiques and a Little Bit of Nonsense'.
Christina and her fellow auctioneers plan to share secrets of the antiques world and will answer questions from the audience in the tour which starts in Canterbury, Kent, on Saturday, March 26.
The group is expected to discuss the weird and wonderful things they have sold, their TV careers, and celebrities they have enjoyed working with and they are hoping for a great turnout.
Christina said: "It is a great opportunity for viewers of the shows we work on to learn more about us, listen to behind-the-scenes stories and tales from our salesroom.
"It promises to be a really fun evening for everyone."
Charles added: "We’ve all got to know each other very well over the last 20 years, all through our mutual love of antiques.
"Thankfully the great British public like ancient old things too, me included, and we all gained the opportunity to work together on various antiques-related TV shows.
"Fans of those shows have Philip to thank for coming up with this stage show idea after a few of us went out on a karaoke night.
"Don’t worry there’s no karaoke in the show.
"I wouldn’t inflict my rendition of 'The Killers’ Are We Human or Are We Dancers' on anyone again.
"But I can promise a barrel of laughs, behind-the-scenes snippets, bloopers, antiques confessions and personal revelations about all of our lives that may take people by surprise.
"It’s going to be great fun.
"I hope people who enjoy watching us on telly will come out in force to see the show."
The audience will learn about how all four auctioneers started in the trade.
Charlie said: "The audience will get to know the background of our lives and how we started in the business.
"For me, it was simply by chance.
"I was supposed to be a dentist.
"We will certainly not be short of interesting and humorous tales from the auction rooms, and, of course, from our lives in front of the cameras.
"I have lots of tales to tell from auctions I have conducted around the world including the USA, India, South Africa and Monaco.
"And I won’t be afraid to reveal the cockups I have made over the years."
