WEM comedy star Greg Davies will be back on screen as he returns for the second series of popular BBC comedy 'The Cleaner.'
Davies will be reprising his role as Government certified cleaning technician Paul 'Wicky' Wickstead and he will be removing more gruesome remains at the scences of various new crimes.
Wicky meets unusual characteres and gets sucked into their worlds as he can’t help but gossip as he cleans, all the while trying to get down to the pub.
The Cleaner is based on the multi award winning long-running German comedy series 'Der Tatortreiniger' and Davies is looking foward to the next series.

The Wem native said: I’m so thrilled that Wicky is back for another round of clean ups and delighted that he is doing so on BBC One.
"The cast for this series are brilliant and that there are so many distinguished actors amongst them leads me to believe that the BBC have secrets that they are using as leverage.
"The writing and production teams and I are very grateful for this support."
The cast for the second series include Zita Sattar returning for her role as PS Ruth Edwards and also Zoë Wanamaker, Asim Chaudhry, Simon Callow.
The second series was co-written by Paul Allen, Barry Castagnola, Meg Salter and Mike Wozniak and it was directed by Tom Marshall and Dominic Brigstocke.
Commissioning Editor for BBC, Ben Caudell is pleased with the new series and believes it is worth watching.
He added: "It’s fantastic to see such a compelling line-up of guest stars in this new second series of The Cleaner, each creating a unique comic character to lock horns and spar with Greg as Wicky.
"Every episode is a terrific TV treat."
The second series is produced by SHUK, and was commissioned by director of comedy for the BBC, Jon Petrie.
The SHUK executive producer is Vivien Muller-Rommel and the producer is Sam Ward and Vivien is delighted the second series will be shown on the BBC.
She said: "We’re delighted that our beloved Wicky is back for a series 2, together with an ensemble of guest stars that we still can't quite believe said yes to watching Greg scrub blood off the floor.
"Hold onto your mops, everyone."
